SEO Scan Audit

You have traffic and no sales. Find which of the four steps is broken.

Traffic without sales is not one problem. It's four different problems that look identical from the outside.

Step 1 — are the visitors the right visitors?

Check the search terms bringing people in. If they're informational ('how to clean leather') rather than commercial ('leather card holder'), the traffic was never going to buy. No page change fixes a mismatched keyword.

Test Top 10 queries in Search Console. Count how many contain a product noun.

Step 2 — do they reach a product page?

If most sessions end on the homepage or a collection page, the navigation is doing the selling and the product page never gets a chance.

Test Compare sessions on / with sessions on any /products/ URL. A ratio above 5:1 means people aren't getting through.

Step 3 — does the product page hold them?

On a phone, the first screen should carry the product, the price, and one reason to believe it. If the first screen is a banner and a menu, everything below it is wasted.

Test Screenshot your product page at 375px width. Can you see price without scrolling?

Step 4 — does the checkout survive?

Unexpected shipping cost at step two of checkout is still the most common single cause of abandonment, and it is invisible in analytics unless you look at the checkout step funnel.

Test Add a product, go to checkout, and time how long until the total price is visible.
The free scan measures the page-level half of this: title, meta description, price visibility, structured data.
