Your Shopify store isn't getting sales. It's usually one of four leaks.
Not traffic problems, not 'the algorithm'. In order of how often we find them, and how cheap they are to test.
Leak 1 — the product page doesn't answer the five questions
A stranger arriving from Google has five questions: what is it, what's it made of, what size is it, how long is delivery, and what happens if it's wrong. Most stores answer three and skip delivery and returns. That's where the cart dies.
Leak 2 — no price or no description in the Google listing
If the price is rendered by JavaScript, Google can't see it, so your listing shows a bare link while competitors show a price line. You get fewer clicks for the same ranking, which reads as 'low traffic' when it's really 'low click-through'.
Leak 3 — traffic arrives on the wrong pages
A blog post about your category outranks your product page, so people land on an article with no buy button and leave. Common on stores that 'did SEO' by publishing content.
Leak 4 — the offer is unclear at the price point
Two products at €40 and €85 with no stated difference means the buyer picks neither. This is not a conversion-rate optimisation problem; it's a positioning one.
